The location is very convenient and the place is good.

The bathroom was dirty and during the night they close the main door and nobody replies the door bell until you knock the door constantly.

Nice atmosphere, but mostly of the people I met who stayed there too. The hostel was clean and big common areas to chill and relax. Good coffee and decent breakfast.

The staff didn’t have a lot of knowledge about stuff around (like laundry service etc.), nor giving tips about the city or organized any social stuff. The bed was very hard to climb and moved a lot because of the person sleeping under.

It was near the metro station and a lot of places so the location was OK. Maybe even too close to some clubs...

- Only Spanish speaking reception. - Really loud neighborhood. Some people will not sleep at all. - For me, it's not a plus. Close do gay bars street so 6 am in toilet one guy with another guy had some fun. - Not working sinks (many of them).

Great location, the rooms were nice, clean, spacious and the beds were super comfy. Hot water showers

The toilet situation was ridiculous. They were outside the rooms and were locked, but the room key did not open them. When we asked to use them they tried to charge us 5 pesos even though we were paying guests. At one point we had to cross the road and use the toilet in KFC; it was a joke. The kitchen was the worst equipped I’ve ever seen, it didn’t even have cutlery! And was very dirty and smelly.

Right in the center of the zona rosa area, big lockers that fit your backpack in, best wifi in ages, room big and got cleaned everyday, staff nice and friendly

shower heads were nonexistent and water was rarely warm, staff doesn’t speak english at all, mosquitoes in the room at night sometimes. bit unorganised since on my second night got informed by another girl staying in the room that we were to move rooms at that moment cause there was a group coming so had to go to the reception at midnight to deal with that situation, no other problems after that though

Great location. Good hostel overall.

Lockers where in bad shape, some hard to open/close. No place to hang clothes/wet towels close to your bed. But this is an issue in every hostel.

La Tercia is a good place to leave your luggage, go roam the city all day and come back to sleep.

Location is really good cause it allows you to move around the city really fast, it's 1 block away from the "Insurgentes" subway station. Also they clean the rooms and the whole premises daily.

I was moved around rooms 3 times because they told me they were going to perform maintenance services on the rooms. Also cause the hostel is located in a very well known gay area of the city I had to endure being sexually harrased by some of the other guests and I noticed some sexual activity in the shared bathrooms. So if you're into this kind of thing you're really gonna like it here.

No restrooms inside the rooms. Its annoying if you need to pee at night and are on a bunk bed. So you have to climb down the bed get dressed because it's cold, walk out the room, up the stairs find the restroom then go back downstairs to your room and up your bed

Location for Day of the Death

Horrible experience. Booked two beds in 8-beds mixed room, they gave us 14-beds room. There was no power in the room, plug sockets didnt work, nobody change the bed sheets after previous people, massive mess everywhere also bug beds! After two nights they came to us like 10pm and they told us to move our stuff to other rooms as group of people comming and they want to be together lol so they have seperate me and my boyfriend and we have to be in boys/girls rooms. Staff unfriendly, didnt care at all.

Actually a great value

The location, despise the late hour i arrived the streets where filled with people and dient didn't feel insecure . Streets are very illuminated and there are policemen all around so don't get worried about getting assaulted

There are a lot of stalkers and people that can make you feel uncomfortable, by the way, i got harassed in my own room, didn't know i was staying with gays, and didn't know they were so disrespectful, the other bad thing is there's a lot of noise all around so always take with you some earphones to avoid the noise.
